About Cessnock Stage
A publication about theatre, dance, music and comedy in Cessnock and the Hunter: what is on, who is performing, and how to get involved.
What we do
Cessnock Stage covers the Hunter's performing arts: news from its stages, a calendar of what is on, guides to its venues and eisteddfods, and the history of a region that has been singing, dancing and putting on plays in its halls for more than a century.
How we check listings
Every date in our calendar comes from the venue's or organiser's own public listing, and every page shows the date we last checked. We link each show to that listing so you can confirm the details and book with the venue. When a listing changes, we change ours.
Who writes it
Cessnock Stage is written and edited by a small team, credited as the Cessnock Stage editors.
Corrections and listings
Corrections, and public listings for Hunter performances we have missed, are welcome. Our contact form opens with the newsletter; until then, the theatre's or company's own public page is the source we check.
Disclaimer
General information only. Cessnock Stage does not sell tickets or take bookings, and it is not affiliated with any venue, council or company. This web address once carried the Cessnock theatre's old website; the theatre, now called Performance Arts Culture Cessnock, has its own website at paccessnock.com.au.
